- MN>Yesterday it happened again. I received my copy of the

-
- Got the same problem here, Mats. Have to tape the covers together
- almost every time.
- Must be the travel from US to SCA.

-
- Usually horizontal, as is SSB and CW. FM vertical. There are probably
- exceptions in some areas of the country, but that's always what I've
- found.

- PS - If you get set up for 6 FM, say hi to the guys on 52.525 FM for me I
- used to live in Norfolk and worked them every day.

-
- yes we do have a 4 metre allocation in the UK. It's 70.000 - 70.050 MHz.
-
- Also the following countries also have a 4m allocation: EI ZB 9H and 5B
-
- During VHF NFD (July) our club (Reading & DARC) regularly work into EI and
- ZB on 70 MHz.
-
- Locally, most of 70 MHz seems to be occupied by Packetcluster users.

-
- Not that is really a big deal, but I don't see how this situation is a
- *violation* for Radio Shack. They are a retail dealer of electronic
- equipment, and have the responsibility to instruct their _employees_ not
- transmit on a ham rig unless they have a license. In this case, however,
- you were the operator of the radio, and if you weren't licensed to use it,
- *you* are in violation. Radio Shack can't control what others do, only
- their own workers (maybe).
-
- Again, no biggie, but a different viewpoint on this situation.
